Congrats on the amazing press! If not for the Yahoo! news article, I probaby would not have heard about your book. Of course I had to buy a copy and can only hope that the Amazon Marketplace seller actually sends the book out. Now, I just gotta know…did you plan the cover to draw Jack’s attention so you can get all of this free publicity and insane interest in your book? If so, BRILLIANT!!! I will have to wait for the new version to arrive because I am going to have to frame the original…lol!

    • Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy the book.

We absolutely did NOT plan the cover based on something like this. My publisher and I had no clue. We just thought it was a fun parody and that that was legal. We are all art-brained people and don’t have much law sense. We are just grateful things got solved amicably.

      Best,
      Patrick

As a fellow Louisvillian, I am glad things worked out. I think if companies would just realize people are people — and that things can be worked out, we will be a whole lot better of. I am planning on buying the book. Do you plan an audio version?

By the way, your link to your own website is not working. You might want to check into it.

    • Hi Don. I am an idiot. Thanks for pointing out the dead link!

Also, there is an abridged audio version available on iTunes and Audible.com. We are discussing whether or not a full length version is going to happen.

      Hope you enjoy the book!

How many copies where printed with the cover that now has to be changed?? Like many others I too would not have heard of your book but I blindly bought a copy and can’t wait to read it. Although, I may have to get another copy for the kindle, I’m not sure I want to damage the cover of the one I bought. 🙂 Happy for you that JD was so kind to you.

    • Hi Amanda,

The book is actually print on demand, so it will feature the JD-influenced cover until we have the new cover art. Should be another week or two.

      Hope you enjoy the read.

      Thank you!
